Redwood Forest Zoo
Hello. This is a finished zoo I kind of ditched but I'm going to re- release it.
First here is a map. I will tell you where the animal is as I reveal. This zoo was made in a small town to help animals that were somehow mistreated and also some orphaned animals from the wild. P.S. if anyone knows how I can add little animal silhouettes to the map please p.m me at either Tesera or northern skies. At the end of the showcase I will show a map with names showing where the exhibits are.
Reptile House
First I will show you the reptile house it is in the left center part of the map. Some of the reptiles were pets that people could not care for anymore. The larger and more lethal ones (red text) were either black market or rescued from poaching.
Species List
Corn Snake
Green Tree Python
Western Diamondback Rattlesnake
American Alligator
Frilled Lizard
Gila Monster
Komodo Dragon
Jackson's Chameleon

Lastly for this update an overview of the reptile house. One with a roof, one without that has names.
Lemur Island
Lemur island will soon be the home a a group of ring tailed lemurs (that were either in the black market, illegally kept or in the middle of other tragedies) that all bonded in a rescue center. We volunteered to take them in once the zoo was finished. This exhibit is in the lower left part of the zoo.

Cheetah Exhibit
In Africa we rescued a pair of orphaned cheetahs and brought them here. This exhibit is in the upper left part of the zoo.

Birds
In this update I will show you the bird exhibits in the zoo. We have kookaburras, golden pheasants and emus.
Golden Pheasant Exhibit
In the zoo we have 2 golden pheasants. Both of them were being smuggled from China because they are, if you did not already know, endangered and have beautiful feathers. Here is an example picture then after that I will show the exhibit. It is in the top center part of the zoo.
Overview
Kookaburra
This exhibit is in the right center part of the zoo. It is home to a few kookaburras that were kept as pets but could no longer be taken care of. Here is the exhibit.
Overview
Emu
This exhibit is in the bottom right part part of the zoo. The emu was going to be killed for it's feathers after it was stolen from an ostrich farm. Here is the exhibit
Overview
Southern Pudu
We rescued 2 southern pudus from a wildlife center overrun by poachers in Chile. The rescuers had to go through many challenges to save these little deer.
Overview
American River Otter
These 4 furry mammals were found and relocated to our zoo from the Gulf of Mexico after the oil spill. They were covered with oil and would not have lasted much longer if we had not saved them.
